Greetings From Your Principal

Novermber 2018

Dear Mayer Elementary Families,
We are already in the month of November! Everything is progressing nicely, and we have much for which to be thankful. I am reminded daily, through interactions with our students, families, and staff, how truly lucky Mayer Elementary School is to have a positive, supportive school community focused on high expectations and continued growth.

I am also thankful for all of our compassionate teachers and staff at MES. They daily want to ensure that their students are mastering the skills needed to be successful in their learning environment.

I would like to congratulate all of the students for doing very well in following the schools 3R’s and school expectations. Through our “Paws” program, students receive paws that go into a weekly drawing for prizes or gift cards.  Keep up the good work Wildcats!

APTT - Parent/teacher conferences were a huge success this year, and families left campus with their student’s data, their goals, and activities to help out at home.

Attendance Update:

The average percentage of daily student attendance so far this year is 96%. Our goal is to always have this number at or above 94%. We’re doing it Wildcats! Be here every day and you will learn every day! Let’s also focus on getting to school on time and not leaving early!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Warmest regards,

Mrs. Leonard
